Methodology

How the copy-trading layer works

Talvo Fiancoria does not predict markets by instinct. It ranks a pool of algorithmic strategies on realised, risk-adjusted performance, then allocates a share of your capital to those that clear a minimum consistency threshold. When a tracked strategy opens or closes a position, the same action is replicated in your account within the latency window you configure.

  • Strategy screeningEach candidate strategy is evaluated against historical drawdown, win consistency, and correlation to your existing holdings before it qualifies for tracking.
  • Signal weightingCapital is distributed across qualifying strategies in proportion to recent risk-adjusted return, recalculated on a rolling basis rather than fixed at onboarding.
  • Position mirroringTrade instructions are relayed to your connected brokerage account as standing orders, scaled to your account size and exposure limits.
  • Risk overlayA separate module can reduce or halt mirrored exposure if volatility or drawdown exceeds thresholds you define in advance.

Data ingestion, model scoring, strategy ranking, and execution mirroring run as a continuous loop, re-evaluated at fixed intervals rather than on a per-trade basis.

Predictive Capabilities

What the data-analysis layer actually measures

Each capability below feeds into the same ranking engine. None of them is used in isolation to generate a trade signal.

Risk Modelling

Risk-adjusted strategy scoring

Every tracked strategy is scored on drawdown behaviour, not just headline return. The model weighs the size and duration of losing streaks alongside recovery speed, so a strategy with a smoother equity curve can outrank one with a higher but more volatile return.

Scores are recalculated on a rolling basis and used to size each strategy's share of mirrored capital, rather than to produce a single static rating.

Sentiment Analysis

Market sentiment cross-check

Natural-language models scan financial news, regulatory filings, and public commentary for shifts in tone around an instrument, flagging divergence between sentiment and price action rather than issuing standalone trade signals.

Infrastructure

Execution latency

Mirrored orders are relayed through a direct API connection to supported brokers. Latency depends on your broker's infrastructure and network conditions; detailed specifications are provided during onboarding rather than quoted as a fixed figure.

Inside the Terminal

A ranked list, not a dashboard of charts

The interface is built around a single ranked list: strategies on the left, your mirrored exposure on the right. There are no celebratory animations or score counters. A strategy's row shows its current allocation, trailing drawdown, and the date its last signal was mirrored into live accounts.

Colour is used sparingly, reserved for status — active, paused, or under review — so the layout stays legible during fast-moving sessions.

  • 01Strategy ledgerRanked by rolling risk-adjusted return, updated on each rebalancing cycle.
  • 02Exposure panelYour current allocation per strategy, with a manual override to pause any single feed.
  • 03Audit logA timestamped record of every mirrored order, retained for your own reconciliation.

Validation

Backtesting and model validation

Before a strategy is added to the tracked pool, it passes through the same four-stage process.

  1. Historical replayEach strategy is run against multiple years of historical price data before it is considered for tracking.
  2. Out-of-sample testingPerformance is re-checked on data the model has not seen, to separate genuine edge from overfitting.
  3. Paper-trade periodQualifying strategies are monitored in a simulated live environment before any capital is mirrored.
  4. Ongoing re-validationStrategies already in use are periodically re-scored against the same criteria and removed if they fall below threshold.
Data integrity All performance figures shown inside the terminal are calculated from executed, timestamped order data rather than hypothetical projections. Where a strategy is still in its paper-trade period, this is marked clearly against its listing.
Does Talvo Fiancoria place trades on my behalf automatically?

Yes. Once you authorise mirroring for a given strategy, order replication is automated within the limits you configure. You retain the ability to pause or override any strategy at any time.

Can I set my own exposure limits?

Each strategy allocation can be capped by percentage of account equity, maximum position size, or both, and these limits are enforced before an order is relayed.

Which brokers does the platform connect to?

Supported broker integrations are listed during onboarding. Connection requires API access to be enabled on your brokerage account.

What happens if a strategy underperforms?

Strategies are re-scored on a rolling basis and automatically reduced or removed from the tracked pool if they fall outside the defined risk-adjusted return threshold.

Get Started

Review the strategy pool before you connect an account

Access to the terminal starts with a read-only view of the current tracked strategies, their scoring history, and exposure limits. You connect a brokerage account only once you are ready to mirror positions.

Initialize Terminal

Requires a supported UK brokerage account with API access enabled. Setup is reviewed individually; some integrations may take longer to activate.
